What sizes of meeting rooms are available?
At The Sukosol, we can accommodate meetings from 10 to 800 guests. We have 18 meeting rooms sized from 35 -726 square metres. Each room can be set up in a variety of ways to fit your requirements; classroom, theatre, boardroom, U-shaped, round-table.
What is the size of the main ballroom?
It is 726 square metres with a 5 metre ceiling height and can accommodate:
- Classroom: 500 guests
- Theater: 800 guests
- Cocktail: 800 guests
- Buffet: 500 guests
- Chinese banquet: 600 guests.
Do you have rooms with natural light?
We have a number of medium-sized meeting rooms on the ground and second floor that have windows with natural light in our Courtyard Garden, able to accommodate up to 100 guests. For these rooms, you have the option of having coffee breaks in our Courtyard Garden area too.
What types of meals are included in the meeting package?
For meetings with 10-40 guests, set menus with typically 3-4 courses are available, including Thai and Western cuisine options. For groups of 50 or more guests, international buffet meals are available, featuring a range of international and Thai favourites. Meals can be served in a private room or in one of the hotel’s restaurants. We also have the option for smaller groups to enjoy a more intimate meal in Lin-Fa, our renowned Chinese restaurant.
What types of catering services are available?
At The Sukosol, we understand that the food can help to ensure the success of your event, so we offer a variety of options to support you. Choose from a cocktail set up (small dishes, best for events with more networking), to full international buffets or Western & Thai set menus of 3 or 4 courses. We can even offer full Chinese banquet meals with multiple courses served to tables.
We can also accommodate dietary restrictions and special meal requests.
Is Wi-Fi available for all attendees?
Our standard hotel Wi-Fi is included in every meeting package and is available for all attendees (complimentary) and our IT team is ready to support you during your meeting. For very high bandwidth or any special requirements, our IT team is able to assist you, though there may be additional fees.
Do you support hybrid meetings?
We offer Zoom meeting support with equipment and staff throughout your event. We can offer other virtual and hybrid meeting options too.
Are there on-site staff and technicians available to help me?
Yes, we have a dedicated team to support your event from planning through to set up as well as during your event. Our event coordinator will assist during the planning phase to ensure we understand your requirements completely and our team will set up your meeting room with careful attention to detail. During your event we will have coordinators, catering staff and technicians on hand to assist with every step.
What does the meeting package include?
Our meeting packages are for half day or full day meetings and will typically include a coffee break and a meal (half day) or two coffee breaks and a meal (full day). We are happy to work with you to find menus and dishes that you feel your guests will enjoy.
The package also includes our team supporting you throughout your event.
In addition, we will include standard meeting equipment such as microphones, sound systems, LCD projectors, and screens.
For any additional equipment or services, such as wellness breaks, additional laptops or live translation, there may be additional fees.
Does the meeting package include meeting room rates?
Yes, as long as your event meets your minimum guaranteed attendance as agreed upon, then the meeting room costs are included.
Is a secretariate/day room available for our team to use?
We are happy to offer a complimentary room for day use for events with more than 200 guests. For events over multiple days, we can also make space available for storage of equipment and personal belongings at no additional cost.
Are there government rates?
Yes, we do offer rates for government events. Please contact our sales team for more information.
Can we contract for year-round rates?
Yes, we would be happy to work out an agreement with you for a series for meetings or a year-round rate. Please contact our sales team for more information.
Is there on-site parking available? Is there a cost?
Yes, the hotel has complimentary parking available on-site with security and can reserve spaces for VIP guests, organizers and speakers.
